Rule Board

1. General Conduct
  • All participants must follow the instructions of marshals, recovery crews, and event staff at all times.
  • Respect other participants and maintain a courteous attitude.
  • No aggressive driving, unsafe behaviour, or verbal abuse will be tolerated.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • No littering - please use designated waste points.
2. Vehicle Requirements
  • All vehicles must be in safe working condition with secure tyres, recovery points, and braking systems.
  • All loose items inside the vehicle must be removed or securely fastened.
  • Only road-legal vehicles or vehicles permitted by event organisers may participate.
  • Vehicles must display their event number given @ reception (no ticket, no access).
3. Driving Rules
  • Maximum speed limit in paddock/assembly areas: 5 mph.
  • No reckless manoeuvres, donuts, drifting, or high-speed runs.
  • Always maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
  • Yield to recovery vehicles and emergency services.
  • Stay on the marked routes and do not leave designated driving areas.
4. Passenger Rules
  • Passengers must remain seated with seatbelts fastened at all times.
  • No riding on the exterior of any vehicle unless part of official recovery or event operations.
  • Children may only ride if in appropriate seats and restraints meeting legal requirements.
5. Personal Safety
  • Suitable footwear and clothing must be worn (no sandals or loose garments).
  • Keep clear of moving vehicles and recovery operations.
  • Spectators must stay within marked safe zones.
  • No alcohol consumption before or during driving.
  • Illegal substances are strictly prohibited on site.
6. Recovery & Breakdown
  • Only event-approved recovery teams may conduct vehicle recoveries unless instructed otherwise.
  • Anyone assisting in recoveries must follow marshal instructions.
  • Participants must not enter recovery zones unless given permission.
  • Damage to vehicles during recovery is at the participant’s own risk.
7. Environmental Responsibility
  • Avoid unnecessary wheel spinning and damage to terrain outside permitted areas.
  • Use drip trays if working on your vehicle in the paddock.
  • Report any fluid spills immediately to event staff.
  • Respect wildlife and natural surroundings.
8. Emergency Procedures
  • In case of an incident, stop immediately and inform a marshal.
  • First aid and emergency response points are clearly marked on-site.
  • All participants must allow emergency vehicles full right of way.
  • Follow all evacuation instructions swiftly and calmly if required.
9. Prohibited Items & Actions
  • Firearms or weapons.
  • Open fires unless in designated areas.
  • Unapproved drones.
  • Driving under the influence.
  • Entering restricted or staff-only areas.
10. Liability & Compliance
  • All participants must have signed the event waiver before entering the course.
  • Participation is at your own risk; the organisers are not responsible for vehicle damage, injuries, or property loss.
  • Anyone failing to comply with site rules will be removed from the event without refund.
